Hallo Freunde von multihull.de

nach vier wundervollen Urlaubswochen in Vietnam bin ich wieder gut erholt zurück. Den angefallenen Email-Berg habe ich auch schon abgearbeitet, was sich in neuen Anzeigen im Bootsmarkt und auch sonst in vielen Info-Bereichen von "multihull.de" niedergeschlagen hat. Ansonsten wird ab sofort wieder die "gewohnte" permanente Aktualisierung durchgeführt.

70' Motorkatamaran aus Brasilien

Für alle Nichtsegler unter den Multihull-Freunden, die viel Boot für relativ wenig Geld haben möchten, eine echte Alternative:

Sand-Cat 70

The Sand-Cat 70' is a throughbred from the stable of Thiery Stump, the designer of Amyr Klink's sailing vessel Paratii II. Thiery is also an experienced off-shore sailor and hold an international captain's ticket.

The Sand-Cat is built to the highest standard and are tailor-made to owners special requirements. The building time is presently 12 months from placing an order. The busy werft/yard lies 30 minutes from the mega-town of Sao Paulo and uses the most modern and up-to-date building techniques such as TIG and MIG welding and has inspection from the Norwegian Veritas when required. The Brasilian government subsidises a lot of the building materials and skilled labour cost is very advantageous. As a result, you get a lot of boat for your money, especially now with the favourable exchange rate to the Euro. The Sand-Cat derives it's name from the fact that it is designed to land on most sandy beaches, having a hardwood sacrifical "ski" along the entire l enght of both hulls. Disembarcation is easy through a deck hatch in the bows down a folding aluminium ladder.
The usual accommodation is for 10 people in 4 suites, two with double beds. With an alternate layout, the Sand-Cat is ideal as a charter boat. There is a total useful deck/veranda area of more than 200 sqm. The covered lower cockpit alone has an area of 4 x 9 m. The davits in the stern can take a dinghy up to 4m in lenght.
The price of a standard version Sand-Cat delivered on the sea in Santos, Brasil is Euro 410.000.- otherwise with extra equipment as required by owners. Why not take a break and visit the beautiful Costa Verde area, inspect the marinas and perhaps a visit to the yard near Sao Paulo.
